The game
A haunted house, a hidden Spirit, and nobody you can trust
Explore three haunted houses with your friends, finish risky chores to uncover clues, and call a meeting when something feels off. One of you is the Spirit, and the Spirit wants the house to stay haunted until midnight.
Possess your friends
The Spirit can take over another player from across the room, even through walls, and walk them around for a few seconds. Make them wreck evidence, kill the lights or scream, while your own body quietly keeps pretending to do its chores.
Don't trust every clue
Finishing tasks uncovers clues about the Spirit, but the Spirit can plant fake ones and pick exactly who they frame. Every Investigator gets one secret check per match to find out if a clue is real. Then they can tell the truth about it... or lie.
Risky jobs, real danger
Bank the hearth fire without getting burnt. Fix the breaker panel without a shock. Answer the spirit board before it binds you to the Spirit. Carry the tonic across the house without dropping it.
Light a candle
Nobody can be possessed in candlelight, and walking a possessed friend into the glow breaks the Spirit's hold. Two candles together make a Sanctuary where curses fail.
Argue, accuse, vote
Ring the bell or report a possession to call a meeting. Compare clues, call out liars and vote. Pick right and the Spirit is pulled into the Lullaby Box. Pick wrong and an innocent friend can only watch.
